First Annual Global Food Forum Features Industry Thought Leaders

Randall K. Fields, Chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak, Inc., was featured in The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) Global Food Forum on October 6th in New York City. Randy sat down with John Bussey, Associate Editor of The Wall Street Journal, at the Journal’s Global Food Forum to discuss food safety challenges. Randy joined other industry, academia and regulatory executives who were each interviewed by WSJ editors in front of an audience to explore key challenges and opportunities in the business of food.

During Randy’s session, titled “Safe Sourcing,” he addressed the Food Safety Modernization Act’s ability to make food safer, how the opacity of the global food supply chain enables both food fraud and food crime and the expansion of superbugs.
